This firm density foam pad is ideal for needle felting.
I highly recommend that you invest in your felting base. You may find cheaper alternatives but they will be smaller or thinner foam. This foam is durable & I use these foams in all my needle felting courses or workshops.

*please note* felting needles are very fragile. ALWAYS work with your fiber on a sponge or felting mat when using the pen. This protects both yourself and the needles. Needle felting directly onto a hard surface will snap the needles and damage the surface.
